About the ESSEC

The Program «Advanced Master in International Business» (AMIB) realized by the International Institute of Administration and Business (HSE) together with the ESSEC Business School,a pioneer of business-related learning since 1907. The goal of this program is to train professionals specializing in international affairs, including strategists, negotiators, financiers, marketing specialists, and managers well-versed in cultural differences. This program gives high-level executives a chance to gain a global vision of the company in a context of international expansion, and thus increase their career opportunities.
The University of Paris was created at the very beginning of the 13th century, and has inherited its name from the College created by the theologian Robert de Sorbon in 1252. Alongside Oxford and Bologna, the Sorbonne is one of the oldest universities in the world. With eight hundred years of excellence to build on, the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, a descendant of the Faculty of Law and Economics of the Sorbonne, is one of the most famous and largest universities in France. Some forty thousand students are enrolled on 14 teaching and research departments (Unités de Formation et de Recherche) and 5 Institutes, which offer top level degree courses in law, political science, economics, management and the humanities. The university is principally located in the heart of the Latin Quarter, and occupies part of the Sorbonne and other prestigious French university buildings. Paris 1 is at the center of a rich network of international relations stretching across the five continents and plays a major role in training researchers, academics, judges, lawyers, senior managers and top French civil servants. At the cross-roads of tradition and modernity, Paris 1 is at the forefront of research and education in its fields, and aims to be a major pole of research and education in Europe in the 21st century.
About «Master de Droit économique français (européen)» (HSE, Moscow, Russia)
In 2013 the Higher School of Economics celebrated the 20 th anniversary of cooperation with French universities, public and governmental organizations, including University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. University Paris1 has played a significant role in becoming of the Higher School of Economics a modern University meeting the world standards of educational institution. The French professors provided Russian colleagues with a great methodological support in preparation of the first educational programs and courses of the Higher School of Economics. Cooperation of the HSE and the University Paris1 allowed to run the master’s programs of double diplomas in economics and law, and the graduates of the HSE started to defend PhD-theses in Paris.
