In late April, the HSE University Faculty of Computer Science organised its first data science meetup in the capital of Armenia together with the Russian-Armenian University (RAU). The event featured speakers from HSE University, Yandex, and SberDevices. The meeting featured the participation of students from Yerevan universities who have recently become acquainted with data science, as well as specialists in the field.

HSE University has launched enrolment in a new online Master’s programme in Digital Urban Analytics. In April, students from the Master's programme in Retail Management of HSE Graduate School of Business visited the office of Axenix, a company which offers effective management solutions for Russian business based on wide experience in the field of strategies, innovations and technologies. The Master's programme 'Global and Regional History' is taught in English at HSE University in St Petersburg and has two educational tracks: one historical and one anthropological. VTB, CNews, and Skolkovo have announced the winners of the Data Fusion Awards 2023, a nationwide cross-industry award in the sphere of big data technology. The awards recognise the top projects in the public sector, business, and education. The English-taught Master’s programme Math of Machine Learning, implemented jointly by HSE University’s Faculty of Computer Science and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, was named the educational initiative of the year. Second place in this category was awarded to the Graduate School of Business’s Master’s programme Business Analytics and Big Data Systems.

The Master’s Programme ‘Applied Artificial Intelligence Models’ trains professionals with the competencies to create industrial artificial intelligence models capable of solving a wide range of applied tasks. During training, students will study and apply modern methods and means of creating applied models using artificial intelligence technologies.

On April 1, HSE University opens applications for 18 full-time online master's programmes with a focus on digital technologies and in-demand subject areas. Online programmes provide an opportunity to learn from the academic community and industry experts while combining remote studies with work and family responsibilities.
