Campus news at HSE University

Students of the HSE School of Software Engineering won the Russian final of the Microsoft Imagine Cup contest for software projects on April 6, 2013, in Moscow. Now they will represent Russia in the Microsoft Imagine Cup World Final in July 2013 in Saint Petersburg.

On the second day of the conference, some of the participants shared their views and impressions in short interviews for the HSE news service.

On April 2, 2013, the XIV HSE April International Aca­demic Conference on Economic and Social Development got under way. Some of the conference participants told us about their research and shared their first impressions and expectations of the event.

The XIV Annual April HSE Conference’s seminar ‘Market Studies and Spatial Economics’ is dedicated to the memory of Evgeny Zhelobodko.

Dmitri Vinogradov is one of the first graduates of the HSE Master's Programme and a winner of the 2012 HSE Gold Award in the Alumni Academic Success category. Currently he is a lecturer in Finance and Postgraduate Programme Director (Finance) at the University of Essex.

Dr. Pablo Spiller, Jeffrey A. Jacobs Distinguished Professor of Business and Technology at the University of California, Berkeley, will give an honorary lecture at the XIV HSE April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development. He gave a special interview for the HSE News Service.

'Interaction between the University and Its Alumni: Best International Practices and Prospects for Russian Universities' was a seminar recently held at HSE. Comments are by HSE’s Director for Student and Alumni Relations, Tatiana Dubova.

At the end of February 2013, a delegation from the Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech) visited the HSE. As a result of negotiations, an agreement was finalized on student exchange between the two universities. The framework cooperation agreement between the HSE and SeoulTech was signed in April 2012.
