Think Like an Analyst and Make Better Decisions: New HSE Online Master’s Programme on Coursera
The new online Master of Data and Network Analytics (MDNA) programme on Coursera teaches students to analyze the massive amounts of data accumulated by people and machines. In a time of intensive economic digitalization, the master's programme aims to meet the challenges of the labour market and train highly qualified specialists in full-cycle data analysis. Personal consultations with the Admissions Office are available to help applicants make the right choice and prepare all the necessary documents. ‘HSE University Was a Gateway into the Wider World of Science’
Fernanda Florido-Calvo came to HSE University in Nizhny Novgorod from Chile to study mathematics. While on her two-year Master of Science in Mathematics programme, she wrote her master’s thesis and presented it at the All-Russia Contest of Diploma Thesis of Russian Mathematicians 2021, where she won two awards with full marks. Fernanda spoke to the HSE News Service about her passion for mathematics and the paths that lead to HSE University.
HSE University Attracts More International Students
The results of the 2021/22 international admissions campaign were presented at the recent meeting of the HSE University Academic Council. Despite the COVID-19 restrictions, 2,055 students from 156 countries enrolled this year at HSE University.
International High School Students Can Apply to HSE Global Scholarship Competition Until October 10
The Global Scholarship Competition is one of HSE University’s most significant international projects. In 2022, it will take place for the ninth time. More than 4,000 participants join the Competition every year, and the number is growing annually. This year’s Competition will run from October 20 to October 30. It offers a great opportunity to enrol at HSE University as early as this December.

Stephen Deduck, from New Jersey, USA, enrolled at HSE University after spending a study-abroad semester in St. Petersburg. He received his Master’s in International Business in 2020 and is now working in an international office of an American university to help other students interested in studying abroad. Apply for HSE University Programmes Until August 15
HSE University welcomes applicants from all over the world. The university offers online and on-campus study programmes at different levels, with instruction in English and Russian. International applicants can apply for graduate and undergraduate programmes until August 15 (11:59 pm Moscow time) and may be eligible for partial scholarships.
