GMC: the HSE Team Takes 5th Place in the Final Competition
Global Management Challenge 2011, an international championship in company management has finished in Macao, where about thirty teams from national qualifying championships took part. The HSE student team took 5th place in the final competition. Just back from Macao, the team members shared their impressions of the contest.
Study Tours: A Two-Way Road
Recently the HSE Higher School of Management welcomed a group of students from the Johnson School of Management, Cornell University, USA, which specializes in MBA programmes. Certified Urban Planners will be Trained in Russia
A Graduate School of Urban Studies and Planning has been launched at the HSE. The new department will be the first in Russia to train experts in urban spatial planning.

Registration opened for the HSE International Winter Session 2011
Starting from January 2011 the National Research University - Higher School of Economics offers an International Winter Session. The Winter Session gives students a unique opportunity to immerse in intensive studies at the Higher School of Economics - one of the biggest research universities in CIS and Eastern Europe.
'Europe Opened up to us'
From July 10th –25th the joint Russian-Swiss Summer School took place in Moscow and Lucerne. 13 students from the HSE and 22 students from the University of Lucerne participated in it.
‘To Overcome Past Offenses and Mistrust’
On July 5th a Russian-Polish youth scientific seminar, ‘Russia and Poland Today and Tomorrow: the View of the Young Generation’ took place at the HSE Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs. Students from Russian and Polish universities took part in the forum.
For HSE Students the Confucius Institute Made an Exception
This September three students from the HSE Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs will go to Jilin University in China for a one-year internship.
‘The Orient Enchants’
